Post Vacation Updates: Lingshui Village (Episode 1~2)

Post Vacation Updates will be featuring Weibo updates on the vacation experiences by our celebrity dads (and moms too)!

If you had seen the first two episodes of 'Papa, Where are we going?' at Lingshui Village, you must have wondered about a few things at the end. Did Rock's fractured arm recover well? How did Tian Liang feel about Cindy's crying? What does Chef Sean's tomato sandwich tastes like? Do Angela and Kimi like each other? ;)

Perhaps the responses by our five dads on Weibo would be able to give you some insights to those questions!

1. Tian Liang reflects on The Cindy Crying Show

We all remember Cindy's Crying Show at Lingshui Village. While the audience were just amazed at how Cindy could cry for three hours non-stop and then start crying all over again after that (the stamina for an athlete's child is different from usual kids indeed!), Tian Liang was feeling a little discouraged that he couldn't stop his darling girl from crying.

Tian Liang on Cindy's crying:

'Papa, Where are we going?' has begun broadcasting. Have you seen it? I would like to hear from everyone, please tell me that I'm not the only person who can't handle my child. Looking for encouragement.

2. Tian Liang gets teased by wife

On the other hand, Tian Liang's wife Ye Yiqian was very entertained by his first attempt at taking care of Cindy. Tian Liang was teased for 'ill-treating' Cindy and having a great (lack of) fashion sense.

Ye Yiqian on Tian Liang:

Hey, Cindy, bring me some water, Hey, Cindy, wash the vegetables, Cindy, wash the tomatoes and chilli too. Her mother doesn't even order her around on normal days, yet she's doing so much work after following her father for just one day. My child lives such a 'bitter life' with a father like this!

Ye Yiqian on Tian Liang:

Sen Die's papa's English... wasn't taught by the gym class teacher*, I promise. That's not what he does best. His skill of putting together a coordinate that causes mental breakdowns for others is just getting better. I'm not going to even mention the hair...
(*There's a Chinese saying, "Is your math taught by a gym teacher?" that's used to describe someone who is terrible at math)

3. Rock recovers from fractured arm

Rock, whose tough character is just like his name says, took part in the recording despite breaking his arm right before the filming started. Kudos to the boy for completing all the missions without the slightest complaints about his injury! (Except when he asked to be fed during dinner.) Rock, don't be upset at your papa for not feeding you like the other fathers do for their kids. Your papa is a shy man just like you. We know he was really worried about your fracture, just look at how he bathed you so carefully!

(Guo Tao) Good news good news good news, Rock has removed his plaster! Rock is no longer a one-armed swordsman! Thank you to all brothers and sisters, uncles and aunties, grandpa and grannies who have been very concerned about Rock. The doctor said this young fellow is recovering very well. As a father, my mind is at ease...

(Rock's mom) Careless papa, that's not a plaster, it's called a sling. Besides, the doctor said that he would still have to wear it when he exercises, since he only just recovered. There's a saying, 'Injuries and fractures last a hundred days'!

3. Sean Zhang confesses his love for Sky, as well as for his fans

Remember when Sean Zhang worried about becoming 'fanless' (losing his fans) when he picked up a big chopping knife and started preparing a fish during the first cooking session? Well, there wasn't really a need to worry because all women love men who can cook haha.

Sean Zhang:

Finished watching the first episode nervously!!! I'm very moved about something! That is I didn't become fanless... Those of you who remained are true loves! I will treat you all to sandwiches!! Made personally by yours truly!

Um... I'm not too sure how many of us will truly appreciate a Sean-style homemade sandwich...

We also couldn't keep count of how many times Sky expressed publicly his love for Sean. 'Papa, say you love me', 'Say it out loud for the whole world to hear', 'I just wanted to... find a foxtail for you'. Where else can you find such a sweet boy who's so honest with his feelings! The embarrassed father might not have answered to his boy's request during the show, but he definitely made sure to announce his love on the internet 'out loud for the whole world to hear' later on. =D

Sean Zhang on Sky's confessions:

Finally saw the rebroadcast!! Alright! I'll admit you're my 'little quilted jacket*'. And......that 'Dae Sean Geum' title really doesn't suit me......
(*'Little quilted jacket' is usually used to describe sweet and caring daughters)

6. Jimmy and Kimi Lin endorse No. 3 Spider House

Jimmy Lin and Kimi had the worst luck to pick the No. 3 spider house, but luckily it was all a prank prepared by the staff. I also thought it's interesting that Kimi never found the spider scary like the other kids did, but screamed and cried at the ring of the alarm clock.

Jimmy Lin:

Thank you gifts to celebrate hitting 27 million fans! Ok I know you are all here for Hemi gege, but I'm not jealous at all, I'm feeling happy and proud instead. Here are some cute photos of Kimi as well as the No.3 spider house

7. Angela steals a kiss from Hemi gege?

If Korea has got Yoon Hoo and Jiah, China has Angela and her Hemi gege (elder brother). At Lingshui Village, the two youngest cuties visited one another, went to see roosters together, and played with goats together. But what about their off-screen friendship...? Well, it seems like the emcee of the premier screening event caught some loving actions between the two and uploaded them onto Weibo.

Exchanges between the emcee and Angela's parents:

(Emcee) What are you doing, babies? Too cute and overbearing. Stealing a kiss when the adults aren't looking, papa and mama must have been shocked when they saw this. Angela has a queen-like aura indeed. It seems like she's quite close to little Kimi!

(Li Xiang) Sigh~ I've no control over her!

(Wang Yuelun) I never have to worry about my little girl. She does a better job than me! Haha
